Founded in 1998 in Vancouver B.C. GAIA is an athlete driven custom apparel company, passionately developing its product offering by directly involving athletes in the design of their own products. Our mission is to provide quality, full custom team uniforms and event merchandise delivered on time at a very competitive price with a minimal impact on the environment. We are a small group of globally located friends, working together to provide custom apparel for the sports that we love.
What we bring to the table
Producing full custom apparel can be challenging because it requires a nearly perfect supply chain, with sales, customer service, production and external shipping companies to work together in a very short time frame. GAIA founders have spent the past 17 years perfecting this process to ensure quality and on time delivery of custom gear within 4 weeks, guaranteed.
In Spring 2009, GAIA North America went completely 'virtual' in an effort to dramatically reduce our physical and therefore environmental footprint. Whereas some brands have hokey "green-washing" promotions to illustrate how they are helping the environment, our belief is simple: "When companies reduce energy consumption and their physical footprints, the environment will directly benefit, business costs and product prices will also fall." Pretty simple math isn't it.
We no longer commute or fly for GAIA, we no longer have physical offices, retail stores or warehouses, we ship factory direct to you or your event location. This restructuring has fundamentally altered the nature in which we operate our business. We believe that it is for the better as we can now offer lower prices for great product and even better customer service, all resulting from a more simplified, lower consumption approach.
We are a group of 'real people', sales and customer service reps located globally. We work as a team in a completely flexible environment, any time, anywhere...and we LOVE what we do!
